Principal Engineer/System Validation Technical Leader

Xeon Server Validation Team is looking for a Talented, Technical and Driven Individual to help with delivering the Highest Quality Server Products to the world.

This position will be for Austin, TX locale.

We are seeking a Senior System Validation Engineer/Principal Engineer with vast experience and knowledge in Multiprocessor architecture with proven leadership skills.

Key knowledge of x86 architecture with an emphasis on Coherency and Cache functionality is required.

Working understanding of system level functions including IO, memory, RAS, and other integrated components of CPU architecture is highly desired.

This position will require the capability of looking at long range needs for future validation and ability to define and drive content and strategy for server validation.

This candidate should present expert abilities in debugging in post silicon environments.

Knowledge of synthetic content to validate complex cross functional scenarios is expected.

Applicant should be comfortable working in team environment, leading work groups and task forces, mentoring engineers, and presenting in Sr.

Management forums.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess either a BS or MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Computer industry
  • Problem-solving and logic proficiency
  • An expert understanding of Computer Architecture and CPU micro-architecture
  • Experience with Python or C language programming
  • Demonstrated Technical Leadership, Collaboration and Teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Logic Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Multimeters.
  • Hardware Debug.
  • SW or Firmware Debug.
  • Post-silicon validation
  • Intel architecture and/or Intel chipset Experience
  • Test automation frameworks
  • Linux OS, Windows OS
