Principal AWS Site Reliability Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Principal AWS Site Reliability Engineer in Boston, MA.

Summary:
This is a Principal SRE role in the AWS stack for a global, consumer facing tech company with a tremendous vision. This is a unique role to work on strategy and vision for the infrastructure. This is not a doing SRE role. This is the strategy and design over that group. The Principal AWS Site Reliability Engineer will work in the tech stack of AWS, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines, on where the future should be. They will work with a great group of leaders on the vision. This position can be remote from the Northeast US, or partial in-office if you live near Boston. This role has growth potential into Architect.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of experience
• SRE experience in the AWS, Kubernetes stack, at the design and strategy level; Do the engineering work that leads to the vision and the future, extend the roadmap
• Experience with ownership of a automated operations infrastructure, including planning and technical guidance
• Experience with 10’s of millions of users
