Press Brake Operator

Job Description General Description Under the direction of the Fabrication Supervisor, the Brake Press Operator is responsible for all aspects of operating the brake press, including fitting and fabricating structural steel, completing layouts, and inspecting finished products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Set up forming dies and punches in the press brake
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings
• Perform first piece inspection to ensure parts meet specifications.

• Follow all safety requirements.

• Produce quality parts.

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Must have high character, enthusiasm and desire to meet or exceed the customers’ requirements.

• Must be organized, detail oriented and dependable.

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be able to read complex blueprints.
