Our Coating Specialists are responsible for learning the craft of spraying enamel that’s used to finish cast iron parts that are used to create Hearth & Home Technologies’ industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products.

You’ll be performing drill and grind techniques, along with basic machine operation, set up, and cleaning.

Successful candidates will be able to read and perform basic math functions to determine production counts, work-in-process, and product specifications, follow written and pictorial standard work instructions, communicate clearly and effectively with others, complete quality and safety checks, procedures, and documentation, and lift up to 50 lbs.

This role is critical in performing powder coat and/or porcelain enamel curing systems start up, shut down and application processes to cast products (i.e., cleaning, filling, grinding and coating) through standardized application methods.
