Estimators wear two hats and have several areas of responsibility:
Deliver 5 Star Customer Service
Networking and bringing in new customers
Keeping the pipeline and forecast up to date
Be able to successfully bid jobs for the plumbing department
Bid jobs in the software – ServiceTitan
Participate in take-offs
Obtain bids from sub-contractors
Pre-construction meetings
Change Orders
Obtaining technical permits such as Traffic Control permits, engineering permits
(this is not an inclusive list of job requirements)
The right candidates will have the following:
A positive attitude with a focus on customer service
Experience as an estimator or a journeyman plumber looking to grow in their career to include estimating
Comfortable with a computer; Word, Excel, Outlook
Insurable driver license
