Join an expanding global chemical leader as the Plant Project Engineer with responsibility for managing and executing capital and major expense projects.
There will be interface between maintenance, production, utilities, and process controls/E&I to improve and upgrade plant operations and performance.
Responsibilities:

– Define, execute and manage plant capital projects and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

– Manage and coordinate project schedule with contractors, maintenance and operations.
–
– Lead and support commissioning and startup of projects, including validation, operating requirements, safety inspection and training.
–
– Ensure SHE processes are executed during design, construction and commissioning for capital projects.
–
– Lead and Develop Project Scopes within the Plant Work Process and ensure handover to appropriate work process.
–
– Execute feasibility studies in case of plant problems, opportunities, product development and technological innovations.
–
– Ensure SHE compliance with site management of change procedures for Improve Plant proposals.
Qualifications:
–
– BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree with 3+ years experience as Project/ Engineer in food, pharmaceutical, or specialty chemical plants.
MUST HAVE PLANT LEVEL capital project experience.

– Detailed knowledge of chemical process equipment, process piping, instrumentation/ controls and electrical power distribution as well as improve plant and Small projects work processes.
–
– Familiar with engineering practices, OSHA/ PSM/ ISO requirements, and plant standards and specifications.

– US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (green card) is required.
