As a Payment Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, running, and maintaining processes that help us operate at scale.
Additionally, you will ensure that our projects are defined, tracked, and communicated in a concise, consistent, and effective manner.
You will review and understand existing and prospective business cases and will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing objectives.
You will implement critical initiatives by identifying, escalating, tracking, and resolving tasks and projects on time.
Payments are at the core of Gusto’s business.
The Payments Team ensures that the payments infrastructure at Gusto is operating efficiently and optimally.
The payments infrastructure is the end-to-end payment life cycle and payments data that feeds into the backend of our products and is delivered by our cross-functional partners.
We currently process +$20bn of payroll annually, and with your help, we can continue to scale accurately and sustainably.
We are a small, close, fun group that works hard and laughs a lot.

Project management responsibilities
Here’s what we’re looking for:

Relentless in driving to closure and building strong relationships.
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $60-000
– $81,000 in Denver & most remote locations, and $75,000
– $101,000 for San Francisco & New York.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
