What the Payment Analyst does:
Sort documentation from client by date of deposit
Reconcile daily deposits in accordance to deposit ledger/bank reconciliation sheet
Flags accounts needing additional information or further appeal
Review underpayments and overpayments
Monthly confirmation that all deposits are reconciled
Close payment batches timely according to team goals
Scanning in accordance to type of payment received
What experience we require:
One year in medical billing required
Experience in medical full-cycle billing and payment posting processes required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to interact well with all kinds of people
Must be able to prioritize and accomplish objectives according to schedule
