Order Picker

Warehouse – Picking
South Broward medical supplies company looking for material handlers and order selectors for fast-paced warehouse to work the 2nd shift (2pm – 10pm) & 3rd shift (10pm-6am)

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Maintain inventory controls by careful attention to quantities and part numbers
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Willing to assist in any department of the warehouse depending on business needs
• Count or verify both incoming and outbound freight for accuracy and/or damage
• Ability to quickly switch between tasks due to constantly changing demands

Requirements:

• Able to stand/stoop/lift for extended periods of time in hot environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to operate at least one of the following pieces of equipment:

• Stand-up Forklift
• Sit-down Forklift
• Cherry Picker
• Reach Truck
• Self-starter and responsible for their work and area of work
• Primary English speaker
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when required
• 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting
• Eligible to work in the US

Preferable Qualities:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s License
• Inventory control experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
