• Sign on Bonus: Sign on bonus $1000 – paid after 60 days on the job.

• Pay Range: $16.05 / hour – $22.71 / hour (Progression based on time in job)

• Shift Premium per hour: $.20 for 2nd shift & $.30 3rd shift

Your responsibilities

  • The role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for efficient productions of quality products in the required quantities
  • Must ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement
  • Train and/or perform the tasks of the other associates in the area as needed
  • Perform various job on the Sub assembly line: build, line load, assemble parts and other components
  • Assemble a motor from components per an Assembly diagram and written instructions. Must be able to comprehend all work instructions
  • Use of flex flow and day and rank system
  • Use of various hand tools, air tools, and torque wrenches, various gages, and indicators
  • Work defect free work and meet minimum production guide lines
  • Communicate with other operators and supervisor to discuss any problems
  • Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed
  • Place safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines along with reporting safety issues
  • Daily housekeeping
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Your background

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required and 6 months of Industrial type experience or military service or in lieu of industrial experience will consider vocational/ technical high school and technical college courses or 3 months previous motor manufacturing experience
  • Motor manufacturing experience preferred
  • Specialized skills or other requirements: Steady work history , Reliable transportation to and from work, Adaptable to change and ability to cross-train and Detailed oriented
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Requires the use of a hoist
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain a forklift license
  • These jobs require strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives
  • Requires repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting motions. Lifting to 25-30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Use hoist for heavier part/motors
  • Operator will constantly use hand tools, power tools, and be able to grip various sizes of components and tools used to assemble motor
  • Operator will constantly use fine finger manipulation to accomplish pre‐assembly, assembly, or finishing tasks
  • Understand and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • May requires the use of an air manipulator for lifting motors, would depend on frame size/are that the motor is being assembled
  • Able to work 40 hrs a week and required overtime
  • Ability to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment
  • Able to perform task in a manufacturing environment
  • Standing on concrete floor all day
  • Exposure to sealants, silicone, and various greases
  • Candidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States
