Join our team at Worldwide Fight Services as an Operations Specialist in Hawaii!
The work of the Operations Specialist includes effectively supervising the flow of the operation from check-in through boarding passengers and being able to help customers and employees with any assistance they may require.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Supervises, coordinates, and controls airport passenger service functions.
Monitors the quality and quantity of work performance.
Ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, and Company safety standards and trains subordinates.
Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
Ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties are treated with respect.
Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation.
Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times.
Read, understand and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued and displaying a relevant company ID.
The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Work in a high noise level environment.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Work with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle stress.
Required Experience
1 year of airline experience being a supervisor or Team lead preferred.
Experience managing international accounts is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays and days off.
