Operations Associate

We are looking to add a new person to our operations team!

In this position we are looking for someone that is ready to contribute from day one.

In this role you will work alongside the other members of the team by helping in both operations and billing.

is a non-asset based provider of freight transportation services and supply chain solutions.

Our Agency offers transportation services throughout North America specializing in trucking and rail or intermodal logistics.

Landstar services are delivered through a vast network of independent commission sales Agents and third party capacity owners through a series of information technology systems.

Our Agent and operations specialists find trucks, train containers and drivers for our clients to move their product across North America using competitive prices and personalized, small business service but with a large business connections, tools and techniques.
Here’s What Your Day Will Look Like:
You will learn how to dispatch carriers on shipments You will learn how to communicate with the multiple railroads and carriers we work with.

You will interact with American, Mexican, and Canadian carriers Help process billing for loads You will learn how to input loads into Landstar’s TMS system Here at Jansson llc we strive for 100% on-time service.

You will learn to trace and monitor shipments in order to ensure they make on-time delivery
Experience
/Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience preferred Experience using Google Drive
Full Time
– Weekend hours might be required
