We’re seeking an Operational Implementation Specialist to integrate and configure the Broadridge Suite of applications to client specification.
You will have the opportunity to join a stellar team and work within our Global Technology Operations division. Job responsibilities + Work with new Broadridge client to define system solutions.
Prepare workflows, perform gap analysis, define business requirements, build development specifications, build /execute test scripts, prepare training materials, conduct training sessions, and write conversion data mapping documents. + Responsible for the definition and documentation of requirements relating to assigned Reg Reporting and Compliance with alignment to documentation rules and formats.
Define acceptance criteria including detailed balancing and checkout procedures to be applied during the testing phase to ensure specifications were accurately and completely adhered to in the development phase. + Ensure that requirements are defined so as to result in fully and accurately functioning systems and products that adhere to all reporting rules and client requirements based on user-friendly functionality that meets or exceeds client expectations. + Keep abreast of the latest industry, SEC & FINRA regulations, and work with clients, vendors and industry groups to define service solutions in relation to assigned products and services. + Stay abreast of the latest Broadridge development, bulletins and changes affecting the Regulatory Reporting product + Partner with technology, operations, client services, QA and product teams to successfully fulfill business requirements that satisfy Broadridge and client objectives. + Develop testing strategies and plans, perform test execution, handle defect management, and develop implementation plan for their specific area. + Professional well-spoken individual and a consistent record in building client relationship, and ability to work under tight timeframes. + Provide timely reports of work and challenges to ensure project risk is understood by senior management. + Work with internal programmers, client technology staff, and client operational specialists to implement workflow modifications and perform quality assurance testing affecting overall Broadridge solution. + Periodic travel may be required (10%) + 10+ years’ experience in brokerage processing, settlements and brokerage industry.
BPS specific expertise is a plus. + List specific industry/BPS functions and buzz words that pertain to the specific product set. + BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Technology Management preferred
– or equivalent combination of education and experience required Skills/ competencies + Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and issues and develop and implement sound solutions; + Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; + Familiarity with brokerage industry processes; + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with tact and integrity; + Ability to effectively connect with managers and peers, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing to address issues and facilitate interactions; + Participate in fostering a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals; + Ability to handle multiple job duties in a fast paced environment; + Cultivate company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers and all associates and by having a positive attitude. + Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
