JOB SUMMARY: The Data Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting OSIS application interfaces and integration solutions for our NextGen customers.
Job activities include NextGen application integration, interface and database development and troubleshooting.Key performance objectives in order of priority are:Design, develop, deploy and maintain interfaces and integration solutions using NextGen, NextGen/Mirth Connect and Rosetta.
Deliver completed solutions within the committed timeframe.Collaborates with customers, infrastructure and DBA teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to define requirements, establish connectivity and deploy supportable solutions.Investigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner, and recommend solutions to these problems including code changes, data updates, or configuration modifications.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The responsibilities listed are fundamental to the position and must be performed successfully to achieve the key performance objectives of the role.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, copy machines and filing cabinets.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing isrequired.
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.M.
to 5 p.M.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.TRAVEL:This position may require up to 5% travel.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of professional experience with NextGenMinimum 5 years developing interfaces using NextGen/Mirth Connect and RosettaMinimum 5 years working with Relational Databases, preferably Microsoft SQL ServerPREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:3+ years of experience with the following:Inbound and outbound data integration involving XML, XSLT, JSON and other structured data being transmitted via FTP, RESTful Services and SOAPElectronic interface securityJavaScript and JSONHL7 and EDI X12MS SQL Server, TSQL, Views, Stored ProceduresAbility to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:NoneTELECOMMUTING AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:Dedicated home office space with high speed internet (if remote employee).Must have:Cable or Fiber Internet ServiceDownload speed of 20Mbps or higherUpload speed of 5Mbps or higherOTHER DUTIES:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
