Nursing Assistant Training

Overview Avalon Health Care Center in Sonora is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant! Our Nursing Assistant Training is 100% free and will lead you straight into employment upon successful completion of the course. No prior Health Care experience is required to enroll – we will provide hands on training and mentorship from our experienced Nursing Professionals! Tentative Next Start Date: March 28th, 2022 Responsibilities Once you have completed the course your responsibilities as a CNA will include: Assisting residents with their activities of daily living Assisting residents with dressing and grooming according to their needs Bathing residents with attention to privacy, respecting dignity and providing a safe and relaxing experience Properly using and maintaining facility equipment Recording vital signs, such as: temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure Applying proper lifting and transferring techniques Using proper feeding techniques while respecting personal dignity Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age High school graduate or equivalent GED Ability to commit to the duration of the training program (6-7 weeks) Ability to maintain regular attendance #CB
