Job Description
General resident room cleaning and organization; changing linens, making up resident beds, and ensuring proper storage of all materials
Attending to various resident needs, including but not limited to; personal care/hygiene, passing out food trays, reading, puzzles, transporting to and from activities, 1-1 communication, and other duties as assigned by floor Supervisor to help ensure our residents are cared for, engaged, and stimulated
Assists with answering call bells and notifying CNA of requests outside the scope of practice
Requirements
Preferably a high school graduate or equivalent seeking a career opportunity as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Ability to read, write and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions
Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and facility staff in the performance of duties
Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
On call as necessary
