Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle. Requires certifications in non-destructive testing in accordance with regulations. Qualifications – External Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent U.S. Citizenship; must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance Must be able to obtain industry related certifications to include: Level II certifications in penetrant testing (PT), ultrasonic testing (UT) and radiographic testing (RT). Must be willing and able to work multiple shifts. Must be action oriented, able to collaborate in a team environment, communicate effectively and display good interpersonal skills. Minimum of 500 documented on-the-job training hours in Ultrasonic Testing in prior experience.
