Neurology Opportunity near Austin- Marble Falls, TX- Minimal inpatient and call involved

Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a BC/BE Neurologist to Marble Falls, Texas, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and only 50 miles northwest of Austin, Texas.

Position Highlights

• Join an established general neurology practice at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Marble Falls to provide general neurological care to patients in community.
• The Department of Neurology in Marble Falls is currently comprised of a part-time neurologist supported by nursing and administrative support.  The current neurologist will retire Dec. 2021.
• The work setting is primarily outpatient with minimal inpatient responsibilities
• Monday-Friday in support of clinic hours and patient care needs
• Evening and weekend call is rotated amongst a team of neurologists that work in or around the Austin area.  Evening call is by telephone only and the expected call volume is minimal.
• Acute strokes are handled by a regional tele-stroke team of vascular neurologists and inpatients are managed by the hospitalist team w/neurology consultative services as needed.
• Employed position with a comprehensive benefit package
• Epic EMR system
