Neonatologist

Community Neonatology Associates is seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible early to mid-career neonatologist.

We are a well-established, vibrant private practice comprised of Neonatologists, Hospitalists, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Holy Cross Hospitals in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Our busy 46 bed Level III NICU in Silver Spring serves a wonderfully diverse patient population.

Holy Cross has the largest delivery service in the state at 8,000-10,000 deliveries per year, many of which are managed in collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists at the hospitals high-risk perinatal and diagnostic centers.

We provide evidence-based care to premature and critically ill infants, including high frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, therapeutic hypothermia, select surgical procedures, and our Tiny Baby Program for infants weighing less than 1,000 grams.

We work closely with specialists from Childrens National Medical Center and serve as a teaching site for the programs pediatric residents.

Call is in house and is covered equally by all partners.

Neonatologists also provide occasional coverage at our 8 bed Level II Special Care Nursery at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital.

Our neonatologists are actively engaged in the development of policies and guidelines for the Division of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine.

As Vermont Oxford Network participants, we closely measure our outcomes and pursue ongoing Quality Improvement initiatives.

Continuing Medical Education is prioritized and generously funded.

We participate in systemwide Grand Rounds and host regular journal clubs.

Our location in Montgomery County boasts excellent schools and is proximal to Northern Virginia and Washington DC.

Qualifications MD/DO Degree Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program Certified in BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Compensation and Benefits We offer a robust benefits package for all full-time employees that includes, medical, dental, disability, paid time off and retirement.
