Responsible for proposal preparation and related activities in compliance with management policies and directives.Essential Functions:Serve as the Linkage Manager to prepare base linkage documents, research linkage information, and maintain linkage statistics/spreadsheets and coordinate center surveys.Manage and track the Job Corps Center survey process.Initiate partnerships (phone, email, site visits) and articulate details in linkagereports.Assist the Linkage Director to develop and maintain linkage strategy, tracking, calendar updates and Job Corps center statistics.Communicate and collaborate with the Linkage Director to produce quality linkage information for proposals.Maintain the linkage and department files, summary reports and win/loss records for bids.Update and maintain Development Data System (DDS).Assist the Workstream Lead to write technical proposals and other material for all MTC divisions.Assist in the final review of proposals, formatting preparation and submission.Create graphics, proposal covers, presentations and other essential visual work product.Collaborate with other departments to obtain correct information for proposals.Ability to work well with others to develop and foster teamwork in an environment with short deadlines, changing priorities and duties.Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor”s degree in criminal justice, education, English, technical writing, or related field.
Word processing skills necessary.
Experience in Corrections or Job Corps Center programs are preferred.
Experience may be substituted for education.
Must be willing and able to travel.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and edit written materials.
