We are currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team!

In the role, the incumbent will educate, advise and guide potential borrowers through the loan application process.

Additionally, the Mortgage Loan Originator will continually identify, develop, and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serve as a recurring source of referrals for new mortgage lending applicants.

nn nn n nn nn Essential duties/responsibilities: nn nn nn nn
· Respond to customer inquiries and referrals in a timely fashion and advise customers as to available lending programs.nn nn
· Provide loan rates, products, and fees to prospective clients.nn nn
· Meet and/or exceed production, service, and business development goals and objectives set by management.nn nn
· Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the bank’s loan products and their corresponding underwriting guidelines.nn nn
· Interview applicants to collect and analyze their financial information regarding income, assets, investments and/or debt in order to advise borrowers regarding different loan programs and which best fits their needs.nn nn
· Continually identify, develop, and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a recurring source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.

This network may consist of Real Estate professionals, Builders, professional and personal contacts, as well as other valuable referral sources.nn nn
· Spend majority of the time outside of the office generating referral business.nn nn
· Manage all leads and/or referrals through the company software.nn nn
· Prepare and complete all required forms and disclosures, request all required documents and loan fees, and enter loan applications and customer information into bank’s loan origination system.nn nn
· Ensure all compliance requirements are met and all documents needed for the loan file have been submitted and reviewed for accuracy and completeness.nn nn
· Aid in the collection of documents and the processing of loan files as needed.nn nn
· Maintain all standards of communication including customer contact throughout the Liberty experience and attend client closings as deemed appropriate and any post-closing communication needed.nn nn
· Conduct and participate in sales meetings, presentations and seminars pertaining to the bank’s lending products and services to business sources, community and professional organizations, and the general public.nn nn
· Attend, participate and contribute to corporate and community functions.

These community functions may occur outside regular shift hours.nn nn nn nn Requirements: nn nn nn nn Education and Experience: nn nn
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related preferred.nn nn
· At least two years mortgage origination experience preferred, including demonstrated ability to develop and execute a calling program, and established sales success.nn nn
· Familiarity with the mortgage process and Fannie Mae guidelines desired.nn nn
· Bi-Lingual speaking a plus (either Spanish or Polish).nn nn
· Must have active license, or, must qualify to register with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS), pursuant to the 2008 S.A.F.E.
