First Equity Funding (fefunding.com) is a direct lender that focuses on lending money to real estate investors looking to buy, fix and sell or buy and hold residential and commercial properties. Additionally, we have longer term rental products for investors looking to build out their real estate portfolio. We will lend on both the acquisition/buying of a property and we will lend up to 100% of the construction money to repair or renovate the property so it can be sold quickly and efficiently. NMLS LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED.

Loan Specialist Description:

We are seeking candidates with a strong work ethic with a background in sales, or real estate and/or mortgage lending. Candidate must be willing to network, make outgoing sales calls, and build relationships with investors, realtors, and other real estate professionals.

Loan Specialist Responsibilities:

• Dedicated to delivering strong customer service in a sales environment
• Identify prospective customers through a combination of networking, sales initiatives, and lead follow up
• Conduct customer needs analysis to learn and understand customer’s goals
• Create relationships with prospects and customers to establish trust and encourage referral business
• Conduct thorough follow up to interested borrowers.
• Close loans and advise customer of next steps
• Stay current on new products available for customers, completing ongoing education for licensing and compliance

Loan Specialist Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in a sales or customer service oriented environment
• Strong phone presence, listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask, problem solve and efficiently manage time in a fast paced environment
• Strong at communicating and relationship building
• Team player with the ability to thrive in a structured and competitive environment
• Must have experience in the real estate, sales, mortgage lending or construction related field.

Benefits:

First Equity Funding values their employees, and provides a competitive compensation plan. This job is mainly a commission based position. Draws and/or base salary will be considered on a case by case basis depending on experience.
