We are a remote-first, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in San Francisco, New York City, Indianapolis, Sioux Falls, Porto, and Singapore

The iOS Team at Anchorage Digital is responsible for maintaining and building the future of digital assets management.

Currently the team is revamping the app with a new UI and UX that will set the bar for the next few years.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is used to shipping polished UI that can help us shape our new architecture, build abstractions that will be used by everyone in the team, and create a great UI for all our customers.

As an iOS Engineer you will:

• Create an intuitive mobile experience that instills trust and safety!
• Review code across the entire stack and engineering organization while actively participating in product development. 
• Find the right balance between progress (i.e.

  shipping quickly) and perfection (i.e.

  measuring twice). 

• Foster an efficient deterministic testing culture, with an emphasis on minimizing tech debt and bureaucracy.
• Influence architecture/product roadmap
  – have a seat at the table. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with everyone.
• Help scale the team.
• Work on the front lines of the blockchain/crypto movement and SecOps innovation. 
• Have ownership of the codebase and space to improve it using the latest technologies.

You may be a fit for this role if:

• You have real world experience building mobile applications/UI from scratch and supporting them over a meaningful period of time. 
• You genuinely care about code quality and test infrastructure. 
• You prioritize end-user experience and business value over “cool tech.”
• You self describe as some combination of the following: creative, humble, ambitious, detail oriented, hard working, trustworthy, eager to learn, methodical, action oriented, and tenacious. 
• You’re comfortable navigating Apple’s App Store at every stage in the development/product life-cycle.
• You pay attention to the iOS ecosystem and you are not afraid of new concepts.
• You have developed “computer science fundamentals”, i.e.

  concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

• You know what a Secure Enclave is!
• You have built mobile applications with high-end/”luxury” customers in mind. 
• You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system 🙂
