Material Coordinator

Job Summary: Amentumis looking for a Material Coordinator with a Top Secret (TS) clearance to join our team in Springfield, VA to support our Government customer.Position is responsible for overall supply operations at work site level including receiving, storage, requisitioning, issue and accountability of all items required in support of work site maintenance effort.

Must be a U.S.

Citizen.Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.

Duties include, but not limited to:Under limited supervision coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments IAW with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors’ priorities.Inventories and retrieves sanitized property and other excess property upon receipt of work order for pick-up.Inventories excess property upon pick-up and sign required forms, thereby accepting responsibility for the accountable items and remove from the Customers work.May compile report of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck and maintain employee records.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.5 years of work experience in the area of logisticsExperience processing and expediting the flow of material and equipment into and out of storage or loading docks, to include the shipping process, based upon proper authorizing documents and established schedulesMust be physically able to perform lifting of objects up to 65 pounds per package and maneuver up to 80 pounds; and build pallets or boxes for storage or shipping purposesMust be able to withstand rigorous physical demands including bending, squatting, lifting and standing for long periods of timePossess a valid State Drivers License, and able to pass a driving record (MVR) checkMust be a U.S.

CitizenMust have an active Top Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Ability to operate all types of material handling equipment, including trucks, vans, and/or tractors, as required or allowed by license.
