Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) Job Description:

Currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a great opportunity in the Wildwood, FL area.

Interested candidates must be of mature and responsible character, in good physical and mental

health, have general knowledge of the disease process and medication action, and be proficient in

dealing with emergency situations.

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Minimum of one year of verifiable experience working in a healthcare setting

Must have a valid practical nursing license under the Florida State Board of Nursing

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Provide direct nursing care of sub-acute, chronically ill and convalescent clients

Administer medications according to a prescribed regimen

Monitor client’s condition

Notify supervisor of changes in client’s condition

Document accurately and submit timely nursing notes

Work in cooperation with facility administration and personnel

Participate in continuing educational programs

Experience:

Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN 1 year (Preferred)
