Pay Range: $16.05 – $22.71

Shift Premium: $.20 2nd shift & $.30 3rd shift

(pay range is based on a progression scale)

Your responsibilities

• Job Description:
• • Functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for efficient productions of quality products in the required quantities.
• • Load the line with various parts.
• • Read and comprehending diagrams and verify parts that are needed to assemble the motor.
• • Requires basic computer skills and ability to use/learn Shop Floor Display system.
• • Requires an understanding of flex flow and day and rank system and able to comprehend all written instructions.
• • Requires the use of air hoist.
• • Ability to do defect free work by assembling components accurately and meet minimum production guidelines for the area.
• • Communicate with other operators or supervisors to discuss any part or equipment defects. Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed.
• • This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives. Production operators will be trained to perform task/jobs in other areas of production.
• • Place safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines along with reporting safety issues.
• • Daily housekeeping.
• • Work overtime as needed.
• • Other duties as assigned.

Your background

• Education and Experience Needed:
• • HS Diploma or equivalent required
• • 6 months of Industrial type experience or military service or in lieu of industrial experience will consider vocational/ technical high school and technical college courses or 3 months previous motor manufacturing experience.
• • Previous motor manufacturing experience preferred.
• • Candidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States
• Specialized skills or other requirements:
• • Steady work history
• • Reliable transportation to and from work
• • Adaptable to change and ability to cross-train
• • Detailed oriented
• • Must be able to work any shift
• • Must be able to operate a forklift
• Physical Demands:
• • Requires repetitive pushing, reaching, pulling, grabbing, bending and twisting motions.
• • Operate will constantly grip various sizes of components.
• • Lifting up to 30 – 50 lbs. Lift device used on higher lbs.
• • Operate various hoists.
• • Understand and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• • Operator will constantly use fine finger manipulation to accomplish tasks.
• • Able to work 40hrs a week and required overtime
• • Ability to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment
• • Requires the use of an air manipulator for lifting motors.
• • Able to perform task in a manufacturing environment
• • Standing on concrete floor
