As a Mechanic, you will be part of the team that ensures a high level of facilities services.

You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the building, central chiller plant and utility services, heat, water, air conditioning.

Your healthcare or commercial experience will be put to the test as you monitor the Boiler Room, Chiller Plant and auxiliary equipment.Required Criteria* A high school diploma or GED equivalent* Minimum of three years of experience working under a refrigeration license* New York City Fire Department Certificate of Qualification for Refrigerating System Operating Engineer (Q-01)* New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness G-71 Supervision of Pipe Non-Flammable Medical Gas within 6 months of hire* New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Fireguard F-60 within 6 months of hire* New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Torch Use of Flammable Gases G-60 within 6 months of hire* FDNY Certificate of Fitness P-98 Supervise Fuel Oil Transfer in Buildings within 6 months of hire* FDNY Certificate of Fitness F-01 Fire Guard within 6 months of hire* FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-12 Sprinkler Systems within 6 months of hire* FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-13 Standpipe Systems within 6 months of hire* FDNY Certificate of Fitness A-35 Supervision of Air Compressors within 6 months of hireJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
