Lead Systems Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in Round Rock, TX.

Summary: The Lead Systems Administrator (SR SA) will work with IT staff and vendors to resolve technical problems and act as a Level 2 support escalation for the team as needed.

The Lead SA will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for leading two staff members, design, project delivery, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems infrastructure hardware, software, and related services.

The Senior Systems Administrator will ensure that Systems Infrastructure services, operating systems, software systems, are highly available, operational, and secure with appropriate management.

Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: 7 years of experience supporting large scale Microsoft Windows server farms and endpoint environments, including physical, virtual and cloud hosted platforms.

To including seasoned knowledge of Active Directory, 0365, DNS, PKI services, DHCP, DFS & Printing services 7 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting network concepts using TCP/IP, Network Subnets, VLANS, with solid understanding of the 7 Layer OSI model Demonstrated experience implementing and managing enterprise class backup and disaster recovery systems Azure and or AWS Cloud experience required Experience managing large scale enterprise class system patching and update tools from either SCCM, Manage Engine or other similar patch management tools; Demonstrated experience creating and managing system end point images and automated application deployment processes (Desired) Demonstrated scripting and automation skills using common scripting languages including Batch, PowerShell, Python, Puppet or Chef Must have ITIL experience (ITIL Certification highly desired) Experience supporting SSO, Azure or other similar enterprise federated directory service offerings strongly preferred Experience supporting SAN and or NAS storage platforms from enterprise vendors, Nutanix administration experience highly preferred Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
