The Lead Learning & Development Specialist will directly support the CORE Program Portfolio and Courageous Principals (outlined below), in close partnership with Program Managers and other support teams.The Career Opportunity Redefinition and Exploration (CORE) Program Portfolio combines Deloitte’s award-winning leadership development curriculum and deep knowledge of the Veteran transition journey, to help transitioning service members and Veterans leverage their leadership experience and strengths to find a civilian career that aligns with their passions.Courageous Principals is a unique public/private collaboration that brings together leaders from business, non-profit organizations, state and local government, and the education sector to develop and grow an ecosystem of high-performing school leaders to ensure the millions of students in our schools today can reach their full potential.Work you’ll doAs the Lead Learning & Development Specialist for the Social Impact Portfolio (within the Deloitte Leadership Academy), your primary focus is to support the creation and delivery of effective and leading-edge learning and development curriculum on time and within budget. Your day-to-day duties, tasks, and responsibilities include:Strategy Development – 5%* Conduct external research to find impactful leading-edge capability-building strategies, partnerships, and programs to support strategy implementation.* Work closely with key stakeholders (DEI / Purpose / Rewards & Recognition / Well-being) to ensure the proper emphasis is placed on Social Impact programs.Stakeholder Management – 5%* Maintain effective relationships with Program Deans and key Subject Matter Resources (SMRs).* Prepare draft presentations and reports to support stakeholder meetings.* Support Program Managers in building and growing relationships with external, community leaders and business partners to deliver impactful learning experiences for internal and external audiences.* Participate in project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, and peers.Operations Management – 25%* Identify areas for operational improvement, making suggestions and driving change to gain efficiencies and improve learning impact.* Evaluate and provide quarterly reporting on the effectiveness of educational programming initiatives in practice.* Run and analyze reports to provide preliminary insights on program success.* Manage all activities to be on-time and within budget, tracking against original plan to determine efficiency.* Support cross-team operational initiatives as needed.Curriculum Management – 55%* Plan, execute, and lead curriculum development activities; leverage SMRs and existing materials; review deliverables for accuracy and quality.* Execute assigned programs within budget and timeline.* Collaborate with Talent Services (Learning Development, Learning Operations, and Learning Delivery) to create and deliver leading-edge learning solutions.* Support end-to-end participant journey, facilitator sourcing, and all related communications.* Collaborate with Learning Operations to maintain accurate curriculum data integrity, maintain historical archives, and respond to ad hoc requests for curriculum information.* Maintain strong knowledge of development tools, modalities, and learning methodologies.* Collaborate with participants and faculty to evaluate and provide recommendations to increase the reach, impact, and future capability requirements of the learning portfolio.Resource Management & Development – 10%* Create a teaming environment which encourages sharing of best practices, driving innovation, and continuing improvement.* Provide input into talent reviews and 360-degree performance feedback.* Complete and submit professional development and performance review documentation.* Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing team that maximizes team member contribution by creating an environment of mutual support and shared responsibility.QualificationsRequired:* Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum 4-6 years of related experience* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment* Collaborative mindset to share and implement best practices* Strong instructional design skills* Demonstrated project and program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track* Consultative approach toward internal/external clients* Proficient Microsoft Office skills* Ability to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels* Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment* Up to 20% travel could be required based on role responsibilitiesPreferred:* Prior consulting or professional services experience* Experience creating and building relationships with external groups to develop and deliver pro bono learning programsEA_TALENT_ExpHireRecruiting tipsFrom developing a stand out resume to putting your best foot forward in the interview, we want you to feel prepared and confident as you explore opportunities at Deloitte.
