UX/UI User Experience Design Contractor Location: Remote Work Allowed/ChicagoKPMG Assignment Select is geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work.

Our team is comprised of highly trained third party professional individuals who are in the right place, at the right time, with the right skillset.KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking contractors in multiple locations throughout the United States including New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit, and San Francisco.KPMG is currently seeking an User Experience Design Manager This role is responsible for creating navigation structures and information designs; constructing prototypes, storyboards, and mock-ups to effectively communicate designs to product management and development teams.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with Project Managers, IT and business management on multiple user experience projectsProvide comprehensive consultation to both business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycleAccountable for the effectiveness, quality and the timeliness of project design decisions and how easily these solutions can be implementedTranslate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiencesDesign and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfacesIdentify design problems and devise exceptional solutions; take a user-centered design approach where testing and iterations are timely and accurate.

May lead a small technical UX teamQualifications:Minimum 5 years of UX experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments; background in UX software such as InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq and Adobe Creative Cloud; basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plusBachelors’ degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience in Graphic Design is required; certification in User experience design or related field is a plusAbility to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision; extensive experience inusing UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive designUnderstanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns; proficient in the industry’s latest trends and technologiesStrong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team-work; strong trouble-shootingand organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plansApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureKPMG and MBO Partner are equal opportunity employers/contractors.
