Your Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Find creative, scalable solutions for common problems
- Prioritize and execute daily technical tasks
- Collect and analyze metrics to drive quality and efficiency
- Create and maintain documentation for functionality, workflow and internal process
- Look for ways to improve the team’s processes
- Work with other team members to ensure Shipt internal systems are designed for reliability, performance and security
- Support your team through encouragement and by example
- Have the opportunity to learn from an established, contemporary IT team
Requirements
- 1+ years experience working in IT, Customer Support, Help Desk, IT Support, Computer Technician, etc
- Experience working with Mac products
- Knowledgeable about software and hardware repair
- Familiar with switching and routing protocols
- Proficient at designing and maintaining networks
- Have an intimate understanding of the OSI model
- Experience interacting with different browsers, devices, and virtual machines
- Can communicate complex ideas and processes, simply and concisely
- Comfortable applying the scientific method
- Experience with account and identity management
- You love collaboration, attention to detail, and solving problems
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Extreme, Cisco, Meraki, Ruckus, and other network hardware
- Experience with security and firewall configuration
- Familiarity with MDM
- Experience and/or certifications related to core networking concepts
