POSITION SUMMARY:

As an IT Security Engineer, you will develop and build out security services that support securing the Signet environment. You will primarily be responsible for our cloud security engineering. This position can be located in Dallas, TX or Akron, OH, and is available fully remote for the right candidate.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience protecting AWS environments
• Experience with IAM, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, KMS, Control Tower, etc.
• Security mindset, understanding both attack and defense perspectives
• Passionate about building a secure platform in the cloud
• Experience with automating tasks in cloud platforms
• Experience with scripting (e.g. python) is highly desired
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Azure and Splunk is preferred, but not required
• Experience with identity platforms such as Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
• Experience with identifying, documenting, mitigating, and consulting on enterprise security threats in the cloud
• AWS Certified Security specialty highly desired
• Experience with Windows, Linux, network, and cloud knowledge domains
• Own and manage multiple security incident / problem records impacting the enterprise infrastructure in the cloud
• Be able to manage projects as well as participate effectively in an on-call rotation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers to understand their requirements
• Clear and concise written and oral English
• Ability to excel in high pressure environments
• Document security processes, procedures, policies, and standards
• Assist in maintaining compliance with various compliance programs, such as PCI, SOX, and Privacy regulations

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred but experience may be substituted

Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience:  5 – 10 years related IT experience

Years of Job-Related Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated security position

Technical/Other Skills Required:  CISSP, CISM, CCSK or other security certification is desired but not a requirement
