IT Quality Assurance Analyst I

This is a Full-time position in Brentwood, TN posted July 19, 2021.

The IT Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for ensuring continuous improvement and integrity of IT applications and systems by enforcing quality management standards through testing and documentation procedures.Job Duties: [1] – [2]Primary Duties:* Develops quality standards within policies during initial development stage* Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs, including documentation, diagram and flow chart, and software development procedures to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines* Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently.* Identifies quality issues and writes documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction* Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers and communicates with stakeholders to resolve* Recommends improvements to quality management program* Develops and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure service levels are achieved and that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively* Other duties as required and assignedRequirements:Education and Experience:* Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university or equivalent experience* Minimum 2 years of broad technical experience,* Minimum 2 years in IT quality assurance* Minimum 1 years working with HP Quality Center software preferred* Knowledge of leading industry technologies with a strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives.Essential Skills:* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of performance indicators and define root cause analysis with the ultimate objective of reversing the trend* Ability to perform in-depth analysis, troubleshooting and end-to-end testing.* Ability to generate QA test scenarios based on functional specifications and technical* Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals* Ability to present information and respond to questions from management* Ability to organize and manage multiple technical projects* Ability to work with technical team to resolve issuesEnvironment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The incumbent must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
