IT Lead

Duties and responsibilities

• Oversee IT Operations and Supervise Systems and IT staff for all warehouse locations in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
• Develop strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems).
• Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance.
• Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
• Develop network recovery and backup processes.
• Implement network, data, and storage systems security.
• Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff.
• Be willing to “roll up your sleeves” and get hands on as needed.
• Frequent travel to both New Jersey sites (Rutherford and North Bergen) and the Wilkes-Barre, PA site is required.
• Occasional travel to other locations in California is required.
• Assess third party vendors and negotiate new contracts or renewals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in IT operations, IT Helpdesk, and overseeing technology projects
• 2+ years in a management or supervisory position
• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred
• Excellent understanding of security
• Experience with building out the technology needed for opening up a new warehouse/office space
• Excellent understanding of network and systems administration
• Familiarity with Gsuite, Aerohive, or Ubiquity is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
• Strong knowledge of project management principles
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
