The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the fundamentals of computer operation, experience with Windows, knowledge of current and emerging technology trends, experience with networking, supporting, and troubleshooting a wide range of technology devices.
Knowledge and experience in a Windows environment that included 30 or more clients is preferred.Responsibilities and Duties+ Diagnosing and resolving problems in response to reported incidents+ Planning and analysis of work processes+ Researching and reporting trends and patterns of problems+ Developing training materials and performing computing/information systems training sessions+ Developing and maintaining problem tracking databases+ Ensuring proper operation of, diagnosing/analyzing, and maintaining hardware and software+ Performing backup and recovery operations+ Consulting with users to identify needs and requirements+ Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practicesQualifications and Skills+ A minimum of a High School diploma is required; Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred+ Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies+ Minimum of one year of work experience in an IT department or an A+ certification is preferred+ Knowledge of HIPAA data security practices+ Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to customer service+ Must be able to work independently and in a team environment+ Desired Skills:
