Dura-Line is rapidly growing, and we are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and driven IT Data Analytics Lead to join our team and lead the Global Data Architecture Strategy, Governance, Standards, and Delivery. We need your expertise in developing and delivering long-term strategic goals to enable the business strategy through a sound, structured data architecture vision and standards along with developing true partnership with data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.

In this exciting NEW role, you will set the capability to evangelize a holistic data architectural vision. As you collaborate with global team members, you will provide architectural direction to balance the strategic approach within the agile framework while ensuring data performance and quality process adherence into actionable information for smart business decision-making. You will conduct data capacity planning (lifecycle methodologies, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies) and establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata.

We need someone who is excited to build a Data Architecture from the ground up to deliver incredible value to our business. You will have the platform to make an impact as we will invest in your skills and give you the freedom to identify areas of opportunity and implement sustainable solutions. To hit the ground running, you will need to be a subject-matter expert in data analytics, data integration, data modeling, and understand the unique business requirements.

The person in this role will have to be flexible and adaptable as Dura-Line is a very dynamic business and must be willing to travel and work with cross-functional teams at all levels of the company.

What else can help you succeed in this role?

You must have direct experience in establishing the enterprise data architecture practice to support data governance, data quality, master data management, privacy, and security and implementing those processes & procedures. Your expertise in analytics will be critical to collaborating with key business stakeholders and subject-matter experts in developing future-state enterprise data environment and support the definition and implementation of necessary governance, change management, data stewardship, data quality requirements and controls.

As this is a very technical role, you must have hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, metadata tools, and data profiling tools (i.e. ErWin, Power Designer, Enterprise Architect). Manufacturing/industrial business background is required as you monitor, evaluate, design, and implement production processes & operating systems which includes CRM, ERP or (SAP preferred), and SalesForce.com to support operations.  Digital Transformation experience a plus.

As your role evolves, you will expand into established and emerging data technologies, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data. The IT Data Analyst Lead must be able to advise the organization of the appropriate uses of each technology as you will lead and advocate data analytics projects, document the process, and introduce new and cutting-edge ideas and technologies globally.
