Inventory Coordinator

Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P.

This is a Contract position in Cotton Valley, LA posted May 26, 2021.

Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ: CLMT) is a master limited partnership and a leading independent producer of high-quality, specialty hydrocarbon products in North America. Calumet processes crude oil and other feedstocks into customized lubricating oils, solvents and waxes used in consumer, industrial and automotive products and produces fuel products including gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.

POSTION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Coordinator compiles and analyzes records related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs daily cycle counts
  • Creates, enters, and runs variance reports for Production Manager approval
  • Monitors, analyzes and resolves daily inventory control discrepancies
  • Follows established policies and procedures to conduct inventory adjustments – must work with and report adjustments to the Cost Accountant
  • Performs Inventory transfers
  • Monitors and works with Operation’s Manager to run old inventory reports and for old inventory disposition
  • Records stored, shipped, and received items according to established procedures and daily balances
  • Trains inventory control team members on duties as needed
  • Completes monthly Federal EIA 810 report
  • Completes monthly Louisiana R3 report
  • Completes fourth working day month end reports
  • Additional duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical, statistical, math and computer skills
  • Self-motivated and detailed-oriented
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company
  • Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team environment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree from two-year College or technical school OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Prior experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel

PREFERENCES:

  • Prior SAP, JD Edwards experience; other ERP software experience
