Inventory and Packaging Coordinator

Inventory & Packaging Coordinator Responsibilities: The Inventory and Packaging Coordinator provides administrative support to the Inventory and Packaging department by assisting to purchase product, creating schedules with the packaging department, and helping to acquire and transport supplies. This position is responsible for the following tasks: Provides data entry support in: Purchase Order/Press Run Entry Receipt Posting Physical Count Posting Issues Posting Add New Item Master Posting Item Master File Maintenance Activate/Inactivate Items Inventory Location Maintenance Maintains Excel Spreadsheets to track and report the following: Daily Packaging Performance Reporting Weekly Inventory Health Weekly Inventory Review Spreadsheets Paper Inventory Cycle Count Schedule Packaging Schedule Receiving Log (maintain forms) Maintenance Schedules (maintain forms) Month-End Reporting Create schedule for Packaging Lines Perform Cycle Counts General Administrative Tasks Occasional Stock Support Moving within the facility Putting Stock Away Pulling Work Required Skill Set: Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills Experience with inventory control, bills of material, physical inventories; Must be proficient in MS office with a strong emphasis on MS Excel proficiency; Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds; Some college or related professional training and experience required; Must be a natural “Lean thinker” and have constant drive/desire to continuously improve processes and eliminate waste. The Inventory and Packaging Leader’s primary schedule is 8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday. Extended hours and weekends may also be required during peak activity.
