– Fac./Acad StaffSalary:Salary Commensurate with ExperienceLocation: East LansingCategories: Education/Training, Fixed Term Faculty, Part Time (1-49.9%), UnionWorking/Functional TitleInstructor/Ast ProfessorPosition SummaryThe Department of Linguistics and Germanic, Slavic, Asian and African Languages at Michigan State University is seeking a part-time instructor or assistant professor of Vietnamese Language to teach its first-year online Vietnamese courses.

This is a fixed-term, nine-month, academic year position beginning August 16, 2020 and is renewable contingent upon funding and performance.

The successful candidate will teach one course each semester during the academic year.

Because the teaching is fully online, and because the biweekly supervisor meetings can also be online, we welcome applications from those who may not live within commuting distance to Michigan State University.

Rank is determined by highest degree with a Master’s degree required for an instructor position and a PhD required for an assistant professor position.
