Read the position description below to see if you fit the bill: Summary/ObjectiveThis entry-level position is responsible for credit union financial analysis and benchmarking, industry observations, and general client and analytics software support.

You will join our team of industry analysts which support multiple areas and business initiatives across the company.

Your primary duties will involve analyzing market trends and delivering timely and well thought out analysis for our clients.

This will span articles written on our editorial website CreditUnions.com, deep dives into market segments for our numerous quarterly publications, as well as assisting your teammates and senior executives to prepare webinars and research reports for an audience that reaches across the credit union industry.

In addition to market analysis you will be responsible for troubleshooting client requests which span software support to custom analysis projects.

Strong communication skills and an ability to manage your time are a must as you will frequently be working on multiple projects which involve numerous departments across the company.

Essential FunctionsAs an industry analyst, you will be responsible for performing the following functions: * Research and prepare data-driven written analysis of industry trends and general market conditions.* Provide real-time analytics software training and support to clients to reconcile outstanding issues and questions and build client understanding of data analytics and benchmarking best practices.* Provide analytical support including benchmark comparisons, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling on an as-needed basis.* Assist in the research, preparation, and presentation of webinars on relevant market topics while also demonstrating the functionality of software analytics products.* Support client account managers in the preparation of materials for current clients and prospects.* Assist facilitators in the preparation of consulting and speaking proposals, and client engagement presentations.* Assist in the integration of data into analytical software on a regular basis and work to ensure data integrity and normalization.* Stay informed of current business and economic developments and other relevant information to the credit union and broader financial services industry.

Required Education and Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.* Entry level experience demonstrating strong analytical skills through work or internships.

Preferred Skills * Strong quantitative and analytical skills* Aptitude for critical thinking and attention to detail.* Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrable ability to dive into data and interpret insights clearly and accurately.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal errors.* Ability to work independently and suggest solutions to problems to work through roadblocks.* Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.* Direct client support experience and proven problem-solving capabilities.* Experience and/or familiarity working with SQL database management systems is a plus.* Public speaking and presentation experience are a plus.* Credit union and financial institution industry experience is a plus.
