In-House Counsel – multiple positions

Adams & Martin Group

This is a Contract position in Park River, ND posted July 30, 2021.

Growing entertainment and merchandising company in Chatsworth is adding to their Legal Department.

Company is currently looking to bring on Attorneys in the following roles: Employment Counsel
– seeking 6-10 years of Labor & Employment experience and will be working alongside Human Resources and Management in employement relations.Will advise on currently state law, statutes, and restrictions, updating policies accordingly.

Will also assist in the drafting of various agreements for Employment, Constulting or Vendor relations.

Lastly will assist with pre-litigation dispute resolution.

Business & Legal Affairs Associate
– must have 7 years of experience handling production and other agreements in the Entertainment field.

High preference to those with consume products experience.

Will be in charge of negotiating and drafting various contracts and licenses relating to talent, marketing, IP and production, as well as assist in the company-wide rights clearance process.

Senior Counsel: Intellectual Property
– will have 7 years of experience handling copyright and trademark clearnace, protection and enforcement.

Additional experience in consumer products highly desired.

Will manage the company’s ant-counterfeit program, spanning worldwide.

Will also regularly interact with creative teams in product advise and clearance.

Management of IP support teamn and internet compliance/security will also be required.

For each role, Attorney must be barred and in good standing with State of California.

Must live in a radius commutable to Chatsworth.

Company is open to hybrid remote schedule but must be able to come into offices.
