HR Generalist

Defender Services, a 63 year old staffing and outsource company, is seeking a FULL TIME HR GENERALIST for the corporate headquarters located on Garners Ferry Road in Hopkins SC. The HR Generalist will work closely with the VP of Human Resources to ensure the smooth running of the office on a personnel level.Responsibilities Include:onboarding new hires in partnership with department managerscoaching managers through personnel issuesprocessing bi-weekly payrollresolving any issues that arise during the payroll processregularly assist managers with coaching, counselling, disciplining and terminationsenforcing Company compliance (at federal, state, and local levels) relating to employment and labor lawsprocess employment and wage verificationsassist with FMLA, ADA and EEOC complianceRequirements:At least 3 years of relevant experience in human resources and or payrollExcellent computer skillsHighly developed multi-tasking, organization, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in EnglishDemonstrated advanced administrative and organizational skillsSound up-to-date knowledge of relevant lawsDemonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learningBilingual preferred but not requiredThis is a full-time position, Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm & Friday 8am to 2pmBenefits:Salary is based on ExperienceMedical, Dental, Vision available after 90 daysTwo weeks paid vacationHoliday PayJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Human resources: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
