Alta Resources is Hiring SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing consultative Human Resources guidance to leaders with regards to recruitment, employee relations, department/team structure, performance management, benefits, leaves, and legal compliance/risk reduction.
The individual will provide counsel, assistance and follow-up on company and HR policies, procedures, and documentation and will coordinate on boarding and off boarding activities.
Periodic travel and flexibility in hours to accommodate time zones may be required in order to support all locations (WI, FL, MI, CA, and Manila).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Consult with hiring managers to ensure that the best candidates are selected for the needs of each department/program; this involves analyzing staffing alternatives, determining needs and following a comprehensive recruitment and selection process Update and train hiring managers on appropriate use of selection tools which include online applicant tracking system, resume review, interviewing techniques, candidate assessment and selecting finalists Coordinate internal and external temporary employees Promote Alta Resources at a variety of recruitment functions such as job fairs, university and college career days, and career events targeted for special populations Deliver new employee orientation and manage new hire paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations Coordinate on boarding and off boarding activities Coordination of employee relations investigation activities Assist with employee relations issues/opportunities in coordination with Employee Relations area Coordinate of onsite benefits, open enrollment, and related activities Administer and coordinate leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, and workers compensation Conduct Human Resources related trainings as needed Continuously drive Human Resources scorecard metrics Coordinate the first responder lists and maintains locations of medical equipment in the building to ensure immediate access as needed Keep current in the field of Human Resources and employment law environment Regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities however does provide leadership support, coaching and training to all employees.
The position requires active leadership in the way of supporting strategic initiatives as well as active personal development and application of Six Sigma methodologies.

Additional qualifications included: Ability to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal results Experience in handling challenging human resource and recruitment issues in a diverse and dynamic environment Ability to positively and effectively interact with all levels within the organization and build relationships with leaders Excellent communication skills are required EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University with a focus on HR Management required; 5 plus years of HR generalist experience to include required employee relation, benefits, and leave of absence administration.
