House Attendant / Server

Private family with main residence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is seeking an experienced, organized and detail oriented full-time House Attendant / Server.

Primary responsibilities include assisting with table service, shopping for groceries and supplies, organizing pantry, assisting private chef, housekeeping and deep cleaning, and family laundry and ironing (fine garments and linens).

Additionally, the candidate will be expected to provide service for private events.

Travel to other residences out of state is expected up to 50%.

Candidate must be comfortable working in a family environment with pets.

The schedule requires heightened flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends to accommodate events and the family’s schedule/preference.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily food and beverage service within the residence
Preparing floral arrangements and elegant table settings
Running errands to stock groceries and supplies to support estate staff
Ability to perform general daily housekeeping and deep cleaning throughout the home meeting and exceeding formal household standards.
Perform all aspects of laundry, ironing, and steam iron: hand washing fine garments and clothing, men’s dress shirts, table linens, and bath towels.
Laundering and steam ironing bed sheets, pillowcases, and duvet.
Meticulous organization throughout the house as per instructions.
Support the chef by washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen periodically throughout the shift, including break down and cleaning at end of shift.
Assisting with inventories of china, flatware, crystal/stemware, wines, & spirits.
Packing and unpacking clothes from travel with detailed organization.
Provide end of day housekeeping services, refresh spaces, turn on lighting, organize and restock items as needed.
Gentle care of fine dishware and glassware, polishing of silver when needed.
Providing service for special events, formal dining, holidays, and family gatherings.
Caring for family pets as needed
Cleaning and organizing outdoor living spaces
Any other duties required to support estate operations
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience working in private homes or private yacht filling a similar role.

· Ability to work well with estate staff with a positive, cheerful, and respectful attitude appropriate for a private family estate that fosters community among its staff
Punctual and dedicated.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, able to meet high standards without immediate supervision.
Proficient at ironing and using a steam iron.
Experience in formal dining service, table settings, and napkin folding.
Proactive, keen attention to detail, anticipating needs of the principals.
Active and agile, able to move easily about, and climb stairs
Verifiable references and comprehensive background check are required.
Willing to travel extensively with family to provide service (up to 50%)
Ability to read and write in English, including strong verbal communication skills.
Must be reliable
Valid Driver’s License and Valid US work authorization.
