Perfect job opportunity for someone looking for “easy employment” (retired, student, etc.)May be assigned light housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, or putting laundry in the washer.POSITION SUMMARYThe Hospitality Aide is responsible for providing support to residents by communicating their needs for direct care to a certified staff member.
This position will assist direct care staff in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as facility’s established policies and procedures.
Reports to Registered Medication Aide or supervisor on duty.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement(s)* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at the 8th Grade Level.* Answer telephones* Complete small housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting.* Wash resident laundry as needed.* Clean resident wheelchairs as needed.* Relay requests for actual care assistance to direct care staff.* Transport residents to meals, activities.* Assist with passing trays in dining room and to residents who do not require feeding assistance.* Make beds.* Other duties as assigned.SKILLS and ABILITIES* High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).* Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish job.* Must maintain regular attendance.* Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.* Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with residents, families and other employees.
