Kamis is searching for a Help Desk Associate for a contract position in Dulles, VA.Note: This position is 100% onsite in Dulles. Day will begin at 7:30am for an 8 hour shift. Full time employment with the client is a possibility for the right candidate after several months.Responsibilities:Provide phone and on-site technical support to all computer users in the Dulles Branch office and field employees working in the local market.First line of technical support for all Help Desk calls.Track and enter all Computer Service Requests.Track and enter all Computer User Change Requests.Update the status of all Computer Service Requests and Computer User Change Requests.Track, manage, and update IT Inventory systemOrder supplies and equipment as directed.Support the company Intranet site.Assist with custom database projects.Install or change hardware and equipment as needed.User account creation, modification, and termination.Performs and /or oversees software and application installation and upgrades.Active Directory maintenance.Requirements:1+ years of Help Desk Experience in a professional environment. 2-3+ years preferred.Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, management, members, contractors, and vendors.Proficiency in the Microsoft OS environment including M365/O365 and Active DirectoryExperience imaging software using SCCMUnderstanding of Networking, Network Devices, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etcAbility to lift 50lbsJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Dulles, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Help desk: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
