With your insight and hard work as our Head of Supply Chain we will produce and deliver the highest performance and most reliable electric marine powertrain system available.As we evolve from prototype into commercial launch, we seek an experienced startup leaderto join us as our Head of Supply Chain, driving the evolution of ourhardware technology.nn nnTo be successful as our Head of Supply Chain, your leadership style isone of aServant Leader; you area collaborativeleader with experience developing relationships withthe best partners, work collaboratively with engineering;experienced at cultivating high-performing supply chain teams; you have thrived in the urgent pace and challenge of a rapidly growing startup, and are ready to do it again; and you are drawn to our mission of replacing millions of unreliable, expensive, and dirty gasmotors worldwide.nn nn nn nn Responsibilities: nn nnPlan and implement the overall supply chain strategiesnn nnIdentify, evaluate, select, and build cooperative relationships with suppliersnn nnLead costing analysis for all components and assembliesnn nnLead initial capability assessment of potential new suppliersnn nnPartner with Engineers to clarify designs and drawings for sourcingnn nnCollaborate with suppliers on quality control initiatives using industry recognized metrics and proceduresnn nnSupport the inspection of incoming parts to ensure they comply with drawings/specsnn nnManage ongoing purchasing, receiving, and inventorynn nnLead development and implementation of procurement processesnn nn Requirements: nn nnExperience sourcing for unique and complex productsnn nnExperience scaling supply chain & purchasing from prototype to productionnn nnAbility to interpret and accurately explain engineering drawingsnn nnExperience working with engineers to improve drawingsnn nnExperience with should cost analysis for custom parts and assembliesnn nnExcellent listening, negotiation, and vendor relationship skillsnn nn5+ years of purchasing experience in advanced engineering environmentsnn nn Preferred Skills and Experience: nn nnFast-growing startup experiencenn nnElectric vehicle and/or electromechanical products experiencenn nnExperience with sourcing/mfg of batteries and/or high voltage power systemsnn nnExperience evaluating and implementing ERP/Inventory Management systemsnn nnDatabase and personal relationships with relevant suppliersnn nnExperience with entire supply chain from raw materials to customernn nn nn nnWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
