Based near Koln, our client is in the Retail sector and is looking to recruit a:-

Head of IT Operations / Applications (SAP)

The client is looking for an Agile Leader with a Retail background, reporting to the Group CIO.

You will lead a team of 30+ SAP Experts who deliver the SAP services to the Group – ranging from SAP Retail through to BW, HR and many new modules including Fiori.

The client has just started an S/4HANA implementation, and you will be responsible for this project.

Your role
Deliver SAP Project and Operations services to the group.
Develop and grow the SAP Team’s expertise and competencies
Be the go-to expert for SAP within the group and develop the SAP set up group wide.

Your profile
Several years’ experience leading an SAP organisation in both operations and project work.
A background in Retail is desirable.
Experience of C-Level stakeholder management
An Agile thinker
Solution oriented and a problem solver.
German Speaker is essential, English a plus.
