Job OverviewThe Supply Chain Specialist will facilitate supply chain activities and provide ERP system support.Job Responsibilities Provide leadership from a ‘corporate’ perspective while working toward company goals and objectives Monitor all locations on issues relating to product flow, logistics and system use.
Monitor inventory levels for finished goods and raw material in all facilities.
Monitor aging product, working with the Sales team and the plants for disposition of aging product.
Approve short lead orders, perform changes and allocations, work with appropriate parties regarding availability issues Develop, document and maintain business procedures, ensuring data integrity.
Support, uphold and monitor company policies and procedures as they pertain to sales, distribution and logistics.
Work with production management at all locations on supply chain issues.
Work with the procurement department on inventory/material setup to ensure best practices are utilized.
Assist in the design and testing of new warehousing technology.
Create training documentation and train end users at all plants.
Travel to multiple locations for projects, training and/or onsite support.
Assist Management Team and Plant Managers with extracting data from the system.

Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.Required Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
1+ years of supply chain experience or more.
In-depth understanding of Supply Chain processes and related issues.
Ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
Ability to administer a proactive management approach.
Ability to provide leadership, support, communication and direction to personnel relating to supply chain issues.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.Preferred Education And Experience BA in Supply Chain Management.Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting.
