This position can be filled in Plymouth, MN or Santa Clara, CA WHAT YOU’LL DO The Product Specialist, Product Lifecycle Operations, will be part of the Global Strategy team in the Structural Heart headquarters in Santa Clara, California and will be responsible for streamlining processes for SH Business Unit, meeting launch cadence commitments and driving focused project portfolio.
The candidate will be expected to quickly develop an understanding of the Abbott Structural Heart systems, product offerings, launch cadences and commercialization processes.
The successful candidate must be a proactive problem solver, comfortable with dealing with unstructured problems, that takes on challenges and can lead a team to resolve the issues identified.
Develop and optimize new SH specific launch process/procedures to drive efficiency Guide products through life cycle process in collaboration with marketing, operations and commercial partners Logistics Strategy Management (US, EMEA, ROW): Manage global launches and product through the life cycle process.
Manage the communication between and coordinate activities between the Program Development, Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth product launches, conversions, and retirements.
Work with Commercial Excellence and business partner to establish lifecycle metrics and incorporate into Sales Process and/or dashboards.
Develop product knowledge while working in partnership with product managers globally Support downstream marketing and commercial activities where needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Required BA/BS degree required 3 years of related work experience Experience in Medical Device, Pharma or Biotech required Background in Supply Chain, Ops, Program Management, Product Marketing, Finance, Business Excellence, Strategy or other equivalent Experience with systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, Microsoft Project or equivalent Skilled in communication and influential leadership Strong problem solver with proven ability to tackle unstructured problems Ability to work independently, comfortable taking initiative Ability to travel up to 10% Preferred Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred Experience with product launches, product commercialization is preferred WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
